The Role
Due to the organic growth and strategic expansion of our operations we are looking for an experienced Designer to join our team based in Brisbane.
Designer Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and coordination of Wet, Dry and Special Hazard Systems
- Develop and manage the design drawings, fabrication sheets and equipment list.
- Attend project design meetings and follow up issues by consultants, client and/or construction team
- Handover documentation to the construction team and aid during construction on design and technical aspects
- Assist project managers with change management.
To be considered for the role you will require:
- Relevant building and tertiary qualifications
- Experience in Fire Services
- Skilled with Revit/CAD/Navis and Hydraulic calculation systems is preferable.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience with project time, cost, and scope understanding.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and Building Code legislation
- Excellent communication skills
- Have high quality and safety standards.
Training and further education will be provided to the successful applicant.
