The Role
EndFire are looking for an enthusiastic person to join their existing BIM CAD design team, to work on a variety of project types and sizes. Whether you are an experienced BIM CAD Technician or someone looking to begin as a Cadet, we want to hear from you. BIM CAD Technician Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist with concept drawings and sketches for fire suppression and fire detection system.
- Assist with approval, installation and as built drawings in 2D CAD drawings or 3D BIM models.
- Assist with clash detection and co-ordination works.
- Prepare and manage document registers.
- Maintain project document management systems (TeamBinder, Aconex, iTWOcx, etc).
- Liaise with other contractors / head contractor including attending meetings when required.
- Prepare handover documentation including manuals.
To be considered for the role you will require:
- Competent with AutoCAD and or Revit
- Competent with Word & Excel
- Good communication skills
- Good work ethic
- High attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Positive attitude
This is a permanent position, and the applicant will be based in Brisbane. The salary and conditions will be discussed at interview.
