Reporting to the Administration Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
– Raising and issuing of Purchase Orders from start through to receipt of goods
– Obtain Supplier Quotes when required
– Develop and distribute procurement reports including monthly expenditure to Project Managers
– Maintain good relations with suppliers
– Maintain order information such as qualifications and delivery logistics
– Maintain project documentation for submission to client
– Completion of project Operation and Maintenance Manuals
– Obtain and submit technical data for client Sample Submissions
– Assistance with mobilisation of employees to project sites
– Assistance with Quality Assurance documentation collation for project
– Collation of Maintenance Dockets throughout Defects Liability Period
– Ensure all activities are caried out in accordance with company policies and procedures
– Provide general administration assistance to other administration staff as and when required
– Provide general office assistance as required for daily office requirements including assistance with vehicle maintenance and office compliance
Experience and Qualifications:
– Demonstrated experience in a purchasing and procurement role ideally while working in the construction industry
– Self starter requiring minimum supervision
– High attention to detail and pride in delivering high quality outputs
– Experience with the Microsoft Office suite essential
– Experience with Procore would be an advantage however not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate
– Effective time management and organizational skills, ability to think laterally, ability to take decisive action and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
