Mat Farmer Director
Mat is the Director of Endfire Engineering, bringing over 18 years of experience across the fire protection and construction industries. Having started his career as an apprentice, Mat has progressed through all levels of the business to now lead its strategic direction, operations, and continued growth.
Mat provides leadership across all areas of the business, overseeing project delivery, commercial performance, and organisational strategy, while remaining closely involved in supporting Project Managers on complex, high-value projects. His expertise spans contract administration, quantity surveying, financial management, procurement, design, programming, resourcing, coordination, value engineering, and the end-to-end delivery of specialised fire systems.
With extensive experience across Australia and internationally, including Christchurch, New Zealand, Mat has delivered projects across a wide range of sectors including defence, healthcare, correctional services, education, commercial and retail, government, industrial, and major infrastructure. His technical capability covers all fire services disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and special hazards systems, as well as high-risk environments such as bulk fuel storage facilities.
Mat is known for his practical leadership style, strong commercial acumen, and ability to drive performance across complex and demanding project environments. His deep industry knowledge, combined with a commitment to ongoing professional development and industry engagement, ensures Endfire continues to operate at the forefront of quality, compliance, and innovation.
